Boom

This was a Star Wars take on the Boom scenario available in the Fistful of Lead scenario book.

The gangster Warlik Sonhan plans to show the inhabitants of Tasi city what will happen to those who do not pay protection money! The crew of Blue Viper have been hired to stop the gangster.

The two crews faced off on opposite sides of the main street. Warlik Sonhan was carrying six thermal detonators. These were to be used to demolish three buildings. The thermal detonators could be placed or thrown as grenades.

With the majority of characters armed with blasters, the first turn was spent moving. The newest member of The Blue Viper decided to try his luck with his laser rifle.

Unfortunately, his power pack was empty.

Protected by his minions, Warlik Sonhan placed a thermal detonator on his first target.

With the thermal detonator in place, Warlik Sonhan and his team moved away from the blast zone.

As the two sides got closer to each other, they began to get into blaster range. A firefight began in the rose garden.

With building already ablaze, the crew of The Blue Viper decided that their best approach would be to take Warlik Sonhan out of the game. Vicious blaster fire filled the narrow streets of Tasi.

With both sides ducking in and out of cover and exchanging blaster fire, the stalemate was finally broken when a thermal detonator was thrown at the Blue Viper. The resulting explosion taking out the majority of the Blue Viper crew.

With opposition numbers dwindling, Warlik broke cover and headed towards his next target - a trading post across the street.

Warlik managed to demolish the second building on his list.

With what ended up being the last shot of the game, the brave captain of The Blue Viper was put "Out of the Fight".

That completed a clean sweep for Warlik Sonhan and his cronies. With three buildings destroyed and two survivors exiting the area, 25 Renown Points were earned.

For the crew of The Blue Viper, it's now time to hunker down and heal wounds.
