This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us - A Fistful of Lead game.

Another scenario from 'For a Fistful More: Scenarios for Fistful of Lead' scenario book. This time, two gangs decide to have a 'High Noon' style shoot out in the street.

Again, we used Marshal Bill and his posse against Ricardo and the 'Bad Hombres'.

The game starts with the gang leaders in the middle of the street, 12" apart. Their respective gangs were then placed behind them.

This scenario has a different starting sequence. 3 cards are drawn for the gang leaders only, who then have to plan the order in which the cards will be used. The cards are played 1 per turn for the 3 turns, then it's the normal card sequence from turn 4 onwards.

The game is over once one side has been eliminated or withdrawn.

Turn 1

Both Marshal Bill and Ricardo fired their trusty pistols at each other. Being at long range for a pistol, they both missed each other.

'High Noon'

The two gangs watch what is happening in the street.

Turn 2

Ricardo went first and this time and managed to hit Marshal Bill. Ricardo used his second action to run over to some cover.

Marshal Bill successfully passed his Recovery roll.

Turn 3

This time Marshal Bill went first. Suffering from a wound, he did his best to run behind some cover.

Ricardo realised that weren't any eligible targets in sight, so he ran unto cover as well.

Turn 4

The rest of the gangs now activated.

A gunfight erupted in front of the Store. First blood to the Posse as the drunk 'Deputy' gunned down Jorge from the 'Bad Hombres'.

The 'Bad Hombres' struck back immediately, with Hector successfully hitting and killing 'Doc'.

Turn 5

A tactical use of an Ace as the 'Queen of Hearts' saw Marshal Bill shrug off his wound and then gun down Carlos. For the rest of the game, Carlos became a sitting duck as he accumulated wounds and failed Recovery rolls.

Ricardo got some revenge, hitting and wounding Duggen.

Turn 6

Hector tried to surprise the 'Deputy'. Unfortunately his aim was poor and all he did was become a target for the 'Deputy' who shot Hector down.

Turn 7

Across the street, Ricardo tried to rally his men in another shop - of course, this meant abandoning Carlos to his fate.

Duggen recovered and upon spotting Ricardo, decided to let him have it. Unfortunately, Duggen had forgotten to reload his pistols.

Marshal Bill appeared in the doorway. His first shot missed Pedro, his second shot didn't and down went Pedro.

Smith armed with trusty Winchester finally finished off Carlos. The 'Bad Hombres' were now down to two men remaining.

As a result, Ricardo decided to exit the store and hide in the alleyway.

Turn 8

In the Store, the 'Deputy' finally finished off Hector. Marshal Bill got the drop on Ricardo and gunned him down where he stood.

All in all, a comprehensive win for Marshal Bill and his posse.
