Replicants and Runners by Papsikels
In the ongoing search for sci-fi civilian miniatures that bring style without the usual grimdark baggage, Papsikels has once again delivered. Their Replicants and Runners range (clearly inspired by the iconic characters of Blade Runner) offers a refreshing alternative for hobbyists looking to populate their tabletop worlds with well-dressed, story-rich figures.
Each figure is sculpted with cinematic flair - long coats, layered clothing, and subtle accessories that evoke the noir-drenched streets of Blade Runner. While a few characters are armed, the majority are unarmed, making them ideal for use as generic sci-fi civilians across a wide range of genres.
Unlike the grimdark miniatures I’ve featured previously, these sculpts lean into style and atmosphere rather than overt combat. They’re perfect for:
- Cyberpunk – Think street-level informants, corporate operatives, or rogue AI agents.
- Stargrave – Use them as crew members, NPCs, or scenario objectives.
- Infinity or Judge Dredd – Populate urban environments with believable, characterful civilians.
- Sci-fi – Add depth and realism to your terrain with figures that look like they belong in a living, breathing world.
- Star Wars - These figures wouldn’t look out of place on Coruscant (especially as seen in Andor).
- Star Trek - They would fit in walking down the promenades of a starbase
The fact that most of them are unarmed means they’re not locked into combat roles - they can be anything from detectives and diplomats to replicants on the run.
Papsikels continues to impress with miniatures that are both visually compelling and narratively flexible. The Replicants and Runners range is a must-have for anyone building a cyberpunk or near-future setting that values atmosphere as much as action.
If you're tired of skulls and chains and want something a little more stylish for your sci-fi scenes, this set is a fantastic place to start.

Never having been a 40K fan, I am always ready for different things! These would be great for civilians -- you are correct! Can't wait to see them painted up...
