Stardate 49081.2 - Patrol Campaign Epilogue

Having identified all of the PEFs, the Patrol Campaign was completed. The USS Wilbur had successfully engaged and defeated two Klingon ships.

Now it was time to wrap up the Patrol Campaign. First of all, we had to determine the effects (if any) of the USS Wilburs actions on the campaign.

To do this, we use the 'Campaign Morale' table from 5150: Star Navy. Both Starfleet and Klingon morale was 4 at the beginning of the Patrol Campaign.

Starfleet rolled 3d6, rolling 4, 2 & 2 for 3 successes. The Klingons rolled 6 & 5, meaning no successes. This meant the Starfleet morale increased by from 4 to 5 and the Klingon morale dropped from 4 to 3.

Having determined the Campaign morale, next up was to determine if Starfleet would send any reinforcements for the next leg of the campaign. Any reinforcements would be in the form of points and points could be spent on new ships, upgrading the Captain card (only by one level though) or purchasing upgrades for any ships. To determine the points, we roll on this table.

Starfleet rolled 6 & 6 - both higher than the current Starfleet morale. This meant Starfleet were not sending any reinforcements, although the Captain card could be upgraded from level 1 to 2.

Having determined the lack of reinforcements, it was now time to determine the next mission for the crew of the USS Wilbur.

To do that, meant rolling on the following table from 5150: Star Navy.

Rolling a 2, the USS Wilbur was being reassigned to anti-piracy duties!
