Tankette painted with Contrast Paints

I tried the Contrast Paints with a resin model.


This is model that I picked up off eBay a while ago. Undercoated with Halfords Grey primer and then simply painted with Basilicanum Grey.

Looks suitably grimy for whatever army it ends up in.

Cruising through the empty streets, Jezza and the gang stumbled upon a promising spot for exploration: three houses and a construction site that looked ripe for looting.   They pulled up in the Transit and quickly devised a plan. It feels like a lifetime ago, but when Jezza was a kid, he used to spend time camping in a cottage owned by his Uncle Bob. Bob had a bit of a survivalist streak, and Jezza can't help but wonder if his uncle might still be alive, holed up in that same cottage. The bitter cold of the "Winter of Discontent" gripped the streets of the United Kingdom in 1978–1979. The air was thick with tension as strikes swept the country, paralyzing essential services. Everywhere you looked, there were mountains of rubbish piled up, spilling into the streets like a silent warning of the collapse of order. The once-bustling city centers now reeked of decay and neglect, the towering piles of waste hiding something far worse than the filth of human living.
