Why you should never bring a Jawa to a gunfight!

As always, after playing through a Western-themed scenario, we follow it up with a Star Wars twist. So, here’s the Star Wars version of "The Fabled Treasure of Possum Gus."

In this adventure, two rival factions—a gang led by The Mandalorian and a band of Jawas—are racing to find the legendary treasure of the infamous outlaw, Possum Gus Guthrie. The treasure is hidden in a rugged, hilly region, spread across several secret burial sites. Both groups must comb the area for clues to uncover its location.

Adding to the challenge, the treasure is located deep within Quar territory, and the native Quar are not happy about these unwelcome intruders. Their mission: drive them off their land!

Turn 1

Both sides spent the first turn maneuvering around the table, with the large hill in the center obstructing their line of sight to each other.

Turn 2

Two of the Jawas began digging up part of the treasure, while the rest of the gang provided covering fire to shield them. Meanwhile, the Jawa leader charged up the hill, clashing in close combat with a Weequay thug.

Turn 3

The Mandalorian and IG-11 halted their advance and opened fire. Mando raised his rifle, taking down the closest Jawa with a well-placed shot. The Jawa's sacrifice wasn't for nothing, as two of his comrades managed to grab their treasure from the table.

Meanwhile, IG-11 locked onto the Jawa gang leader, who was up on a hill, wildly swinging a lightsaber. With precise aim, IG-11 fired, bringing the Jawa leader down.

Turn 4

The Quar natives began to cause trouble, focusing their attacks on the closest gang. They opened fire, managing to land hits on several Jawas.

One of the Jawas found himself in a gunfight with a Twi'lek, but the battle quickly turned against him. The Jawa was taken down and eliminated from the game.

Turn 5

The Quar made their presence felt, opening fire on the intruders and causing casualties on both sides.

Turn 6

As The Mandalorian and IG-11 secured the treasure and regrouped with 4-LOM in safety, the Weequay was left stranded on the battlefield. Clutching a treasure token, the Weequay noticed the advancing Quar natives. Without hesitation, he turned and bolted.

Turn 7

The Quar natives were the first to act, and they all turned their weapons on the stranded Weequay, taking him down. With that, the game came to an end.

The game came to an end. The Mandalorian gang managed to secure three treasure tokens before their last two members were eliminated.

Meanwhile, the Jawa gang retrieved two treasure tokens, but the rest of their crew was taken out of the game.

After rolling on the treasure table, the Mandalorians earned 10 Renown Points, while the Jawas gained 14 Renown Points from their tokens. Despite their heavy losses, the Jawas ultimately claimed the bigger prize when it came to the treasure.
