This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us - Star Wars Redux

Another Star Wars version of a scenario from the 'For a Fistful More: Scenarios for Fistful of Lead'

This scenario has a different starting sequence. 3 cards are drawn for the gang leaders only, who then have to plan the order in which the cards will be used. The cards are played 1 per turn for the 3 turns, then it's the normal card sequence from turn 4 onwards.

The game is over once one side has been eliminated or withdrawn.

This time it was a gang led by 'The Mandalorian' (Mando) versus my newly painted 'Frog' gang.

Starting Positions.

Turn 1

Mando went first and successfully gunned down 'Boss Frog'. However, something really unusual for our games occurred - we had a successful Wound Recovery roll! Boss Frog stood up and dusted himself down.

Turn 2

Boss Frog activated first and took the opportunity to duck behind some cover. Mando moved up and took aim - unfortunately his rifle went 'Out of Ammo'.

Turn 3

With Mando 'Out of Ammo' and Boss Frog wounded, both sides avoided each other.

Turn 4

From this turn, the rest of the respective gangs could activate. Feeling brave (and with a gang member acting as a bodyguard), Boss Frog attacked Mando in melee combat. Despite his Beskar armour, Mando was knocked 'Out of the Fight' and out of the game.

Turn 5

A lowly Weequay snuck up to Boss Frog and inflicted some wounds in melee combat.

The rest of the respective gangs exchanged blaster fire in the main street.

Pew, pew

Turn 6

The Weequay was viciously shot down by another member of the 'Frog' gang. A Twi'lek plunged one of his knives into the Boss Frog, sending the Frog leader 'Out of the Fight'. Both sides had lost their respective leaders.

Another member of the Frog gang was gunned down in the main street.

Turn 7

The remaining Frogs sought revenge for the loss of their leader. Blasters fired, wounds were inflicted.

Eventually the Weequay paid the price for his earlier success.

Turn 8

The Twi'lek took out another Frog. Further down the street, IG-11 finally woke and started firing his blaster rifle. Unfortunately, his aiming sensors still needed tweaking.

4-LOM and IG-11 were some what lucky in that any hits were negated by their armour and those hits that got through just created Shock - which doesn't effect droids.

Turn 9

The Frogs finally exacted revenge on the Twi'lek, gunning him down where he stood. The dice gods deciding that the Twi'lek would only suffere from a wound.

Turn 10

The Queen of Hearts saw the Twi'lek restored to full health. However, he drew the attention of the remaining Frogs, their blaster fire forcing him to duck back into cover.

However, the Twi'lek had the last laugh, wounding a Frog with his return fire.

Turn 11

The Twi'lek finally bested a Frog in hand to hand combat. That just left the Frog Specialist as the remaining member of the Frog gang.

IG-11 advanced down the main street, eventually shooting down Frog Specialist.

A win for the Mando gang, even though their leader didn't play a massive part. MVP has to be the Twi'lek who took out 3 of the 5 Frog gang members. 4-LOM and IG-11 did suffer hits and did fail armour rolls. However, poor rolling on the Wound table meant he just suffered from Shock and being 'Soulless' ignored Shock.
